Newsome 41, Robinson 20

TAMPA — Newsome's Conner Powers rushed for 177 yards and four touchdowns as Newsome topped previously undefeated Robinson.

With Newsome's offensive line — center Josh Adams, guards Tyler Guilt and Josh White, and tackles Warren Keene and Michael Montague — dominating, the Wolves rushed for 343 yards on 59 carries and amassed 25 first downs. Four of Newsome's six scoring drives covered 70, 80, 67 and 80 yards.

Powers ran 25 times, scoring on runs of 7, 4, 5 and 10 yards. He also caught two passes for 41 yards from Matt Klenke, who was 4-for-4 for 105 yards, including a 19-yard TD pass to Joe Worth.

Robinson quarterback Blake Rice (10-of-17 for 208 yards) hit Byron Pringle (five catches, 128 yards) for a score and Frankie Williams scored on a 95-yard kickoff return.
