TAMPA — Plant City's Dazmond Patterson returned the opening kickoff 60 yards to set up the Raiders' first score in a lopsided win over Chamberlain.
Sophomore Bennie Coney connected with Jordan Prestwood later in the drive for a 25-yard touchdown to take a 6-0 lead.
On their next possession the Raiders (2-3) marched down the field, led by Coney and Patterson, who scored on a 15-yard run.
In the second quarter Coney connected with Jarnad Harrison for another 15-yard pass to make it 28-0.
The second half was marred by penalties from both teams. But Blake Bell got the Chiefs (0-5) on the scoreboard with a 1-yard run in the fourth quarter.
