Seffner Christian looks to rebound against Bishop McLaughlin

Published Oct. 1, 2014

Most Hillsborough teams played Thursday night, so Seffner Christian is the lone east county team under the Friday night lights this week — but the Crusaders don't get to enjoy the top billing at home. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.

Seffner Christian (2-2) at Bishop McLaughlin (0-5)

Last week: Calvary Christian d. Seffner Christian 41-14; Cambridge Christian d. Bishop McLaughlin 59-7

Why you should go: The Crusaders are on a two-game losing streak but have never lost to Bishop McLaughlin. The teams last played in 2012 when SCA beat Bishop McLaughlin 21-13. Marcus Richardson, who leads the Crusaders with 376 yards rushing, scored from 49 yards out last week against the Warriors. Tyler Flatt tops SCA in receiving with 19 catches while Noah Randall has been outstanding up front, accounting for six sacks and four tackles for loss.
