SHADY HILLS — After exchanging scores in the first half, Shorecrest pulled away against Bishop McLaughlin (1-6).
Hunter Tremaine was responsible for all of the Chargers' points, rushing for three touchdowns and kicking two extra points. He finished with 115 rushing yards.
Shorecrest's Harrison Settle just missed out on a 100-yard rushing game (95 yards).
The Hurricanes' only touchdown was a 20-yard run by Giovanni Perone.
The Chargers (2-5) were called for six holding penalties in the game
"It was a good, well-deserved win," Shorecrest coach Phil Hayford said. "We had a lot of penalties called, but what I always tell the boys is that we have more plays than penalties."
