SEMINOLE — Osceola came out ready to play. Spoto started off slowly. But in the second quarter the Spartans (7-2) took charge and rolled to victory.
The Warriors (2-7) put together a 10-play scoring drive on their first possession.
Senior Edwin McKinney scored on a 5-yard burst to give the Warriors their only score of the night.
In the second quarter Spartans senior Charles Waits quickly zipped for a 25-yard run to make 7-6. Later in the quarter Jamar Burns waltzed in for another score. .
By the second half Spoto was in control. Burns scored twice in the quarter and the Spartans led 28-7. He scored his fourth touchdown of the night in the fourth quarter. Dominique Addison returned an interception 65 yards for a score.
