Spring game-breakers: After allowing Anthony Hollingshed's 15-yard score, which capped East Bay's 10-play, 70-yard opening drive, Lennard struck quickly. It needed five plays to tie it on Josh Shellman's 2-yard run. After forcing a punt, it needed four plays to take the lead on Jahryn Bailey's 1-yard run. … That duo accounted for the game's longest plays, Shellman's 58-yard run and Bailey's late 63-yard score. … East Bay quarterback Ian Kuykendall ran a game-high 15 times for 38 yards … Spoto's Todd Sims ran for two touchdowns, 17 and 53 yards, and a game-high 91 yards.

Did you know? Riverview and Spoto combined for five wins last season. … The Sharks did not get into the red zone until the final minute with the Spartans fairing slightly better on two scoring drives off of two big plays.
