Spring game-breakers: Plant quarterback Rex Culpepper was sharp, completing 13-of-19 passes for 163 yards and two TDs to Clarke Miller (38 yards) and Luke McFadden (11). The 6-foot-3, 215-pounder, son of former Tampa Bay Buc Brad Culpepper, added an 8-yard rushing score. …Jefferson quarterback Randy Bradford (6-for-12, 264 yards, four TDs) and running back Corey Walker (four rushes, 41 yards, one TD) headlined the Dragons' offense, which scored on its first two plays from scrimmage and racked up 322 total yards. …Robinson's Jahrvis Davenport hauled in five passes for 67 yards.

Did you know? Leto nearly surprised Plant's tough defense with a scoring opportunity after driving to the 10-yard line in the second quarter. The drive stalled, however, when a pass by Vinny LaRosa on fourth and goal sailed to the back of the end zone. …Plant coach Robert Weiner said receiver/defensive back Derrick Baity and receiver Jordan Reed did not dress because of undisclosed injuries.
