TAMPA — Tampa Catholic remained unbeaten heading into next week's rivalry game at Jesuit.

The Crusader offense, led by Christian Green, didn't waste any time scoring. On their first drive, Green sprinted 13 yards for a touchdown. Running back Henry McCloud put the Crusaders up by two touchdowns just before the quarter ended. In the second, Hunter Joyer increased the lead with a 27-yard scamper. After a Red Devils touchdown, Green countered with a 12-yard pass to Jordan Jones for a 28-6 lead.

"At times we played spectacular. Our first quarter and a half we were pretty much flawless in all aspects," Tampa Catholic coach Bob Henriquez said. "…We're 8-0, and there are some things we still need to work on, but we're trying to get our regular season out of the way and get ready for the playoffs."

TAMPA — No player works as closely with Jameis Winston as the center. Only those two touch the ball on every play. Together they make — if you will — snap judgements about defensive alignments.
