CHICAGO — Madison Bumgarner pitched effectively into the seventh inning and Marco Scutaro had three hits for the Giants. Former Ray Dioner Navarro hit his second career pinch-hit homer in two days with a two-out, two-run shot off Bumgarner in the seventh inning to pull the Cubs to within 3-2.
