Field: 144 players

Schedule: Today — Pro-Am; Tuesday — Pro practice rounds; Wednesday — Pro-Am; Thursday — First round (morning and afternoon tee times); Friday — Second round (morning and afternoon tee times); Saturday — Third round; Sunday — Final round

Tickets: Free today and Tuesday. Daily tickets $30 until Wednesday at Publix or valsparchampionship.com; $40 at the gate. Kids 15 and under free with ticketed adult. Active or retired military and dependents are free.

Security: No bags larger than 6 by 6 inches will be allowed. For a list of prohibited items, see valsparchampionship.com.

Notable: Justin Rose was a late addition. The U.S. Open champ joins Jason Dufner (PGA Championship) as the two 2013 major title winners in the field. … Rose, No. 7 in the world, is the only top-10 player slated to play.
