Defensive gem of the day

In the sixth inning of Bloomingdale's 6-2 victory over Chamberlain, Bull senior outfielder Jonathan McCary sprinted to the rightfield line, laid out and snagged a flyball in mid flight. The play quickly dampened any Chamberlain hope of a late rally.

Bloomingdale and King head into Wednesday's final round of pool play with 2-0 tournament records and great chances to advance to Thursday's quarterfinal round. Throughout the history of the tournament, Bloomingdale has won three titles (1994, 1995, 2013) while King has won two (1983 and 1992).
