TV/radio: Fox Sports Sun; 970-AM

Key stats: The reeling Canadiens (26-24-4) are coming off a much-needed weekend sweep. They snapped a four-game losing streak by beating Edmonton and Carolina, thanks to strong play by G Ben Scrivens, acquired from Edmonton in December. Montreal, in an 8-20-2 skid, is still without MVP G Carey Price, out since November with a lower-body injury. The Canadiens beat the Lightning 4-3 in a shootout Dec. 28 in the teams' first meeting. G Ben Bishop, who will start, is 10-1-3 with a 1.62 goals-against average in 15 career games against Montreal.

BALTIMORE — RHP Alex Cobb pitched well enough to lead the Rays to an 8-3 win over the Orioles on Friday.

Wilson Ramos gives thanks after hitting a grand slam during the second inning, putting the Rays up 4-0.
