Key stats: The Maple Leafs (10-13-5), in their first year under coach Mike Babcock, have won two in a row, but are still in last place in the Atlantic Division. The Lightning split four meetings last season, losing twice in Toronto. Tampa Bay's last win in Toronto was March 19, 2014. The Lightning is 0-2-1 in the second half of back-to-backs this season. C Steven Stamkos has 15 goals and 16 assists (31 points) in 25 career games against his hometown Maple Leafs. G Jonathan Bernier will start for the Maple Leafs after finishing a conditioning assignment in the AHL, which included three shutouts.
