Don't be shocked if he gets the start tonight. … The Lightning (5-1-1) plays its third game in four days. … C Steven Stamkos leads the league in points (14) and is tied with the Blackhawks' Patrick Sharp for the lead in goals (eight). … The Lightning is 8-4-2 all time against the Predators, including 3-1-2 at home. Nashville won the lone meeting last season, 7-4 in Nashville.
