    LITHIA — The speed and skill of Oviedo's girls soccer team was at full throttle during Friday's Class 5A state semifinal, and at several key moments it was too much for Newsome to defend.

    LITHIA - Newsome sophomore Sophie Shrader, who has been a relative scoring machine through the season with 36 goals, was held scoreless in the Class 5A state semifinal Friday night against Oviedo.     TRINITY — Both Class 4A state semifinalists survived penalty-kick thrillers to advance to Friday's match, but St. Johns Creekside controlled the midfield and stymied host Mitchell 4-1.
