GAME 1

CLEVELAND — Zach Walters' one-out homer in the ninth inning lifted the Indians. Walters, acquired at the trade deadline from the Nationals for Asdrubal Cabrera, hit Randall Delgado's 1-and-2 pitch just over the rightfield wall. Walters was called up Sunday. "He's hit a couple balls right on the nose," Cleveland manager Terry Francona said. "On a day that it was probably going to take a home run to win it, it was good to see him do it. I'm sure that will help him relax."
