CLEVELAND — Jeanmar Gomez and three relievers combined to contain Texas and help Cleveland snap a six-game losing streak. The Indians won for only the sixth time in 34 games since July 27 and improved to 42-24 when scoring four or more runs. The Rangers lost for just the fifth time in 16 games. Vinnie Pestano earned his first save. He has been Chris Perez's setup man for two years, but Cleveland's All-Star closer never warmed up.
