James and Wade propel Heat rally

MIAMI — LeBron James had 25 points and 10 assists, Dwyane Wade also scored 25 and the Heat overcame a 20-point deficit to beat the Warriors 114-107 on Saturday for its 17th victory in 18 games.

Chris Bosh added 20 points and 11 rebounds for Miami, which pulled into a virtual tie with Boston atop the Eastern Conference. The Celtics lead Miami by .031 percentage points, but the teams are tied in the games-back column.

Former Heat forward Dorell Wright scored 30 for Golden State in his first trip to Miami as an opponent. Monta Ellis added 25 and Stephen Curry had 15 for the Warriors.

Golden State had 36 points in each of the first two quarters, then 35 in the entire second half.

Game highlights: Derrick Rose scored 28 and had 11 assists and the host Bulls won for the 13th time in 15 games, beating the struggling, shorthanded Cavaliers 100-91. The Bulls trailed by 10 but outscored Cleveland 32-9 in the third quarter. The Cavs lost for the 16th time in 17 games. … Trevor Ariza scored a season-high 22, Emeka Okafor had 17 points and a season-high 15 rebounds and Chris Paul added 13 points as the Hornets beat the host Wizards 92-81. Wizards rookie point guard John Wall had 12 points and eight turnovers. … Kevin Love had 23 points and 10 rebounds to lead the host Timberwolves to a 103-88 victory over the Nets, who scored just nine points in the third quarter. … Tim Duncan scored 21 and the host Spurs won their fourth in a row, 101-74 over the Thunder. The Spurs improved to 29-4, one the 10 best starts in NBA history. … Late Friday, Kobe Bryant scored 33 and hit a tiebreaking jumper with 1:15 to play, and the host Lakers bounced back from consecutive home losses with a 102-98 victory over the 76ers.

Van Gundy fined: Magic coach Stan Van Gundy was docked $35,000 by the league for public comments about officials, claiming they target Dwight Howard. Van Gundy said referees are looking for Howard to react to foul calls. The league is cracking down on players' reactions by calling technicals. Howard leads the league with 12.

Around the league: Celtics forward Paul Pierce was fined $15,000 by the league for throwing an object into the stands during a victory Tuesday over the Pacers. … Wizards' swingman Josh Howard, who missed nearly 10 months after surgery on a torn ligament in his left knee, did not play against New Orleans because of soreness in that knee. … Cavs center Anderson Varejao (broken cheekbone) was inactive and will also miss today's game against Dallas. Guards Mo Williams (left hip flexor strain) and Daniel Gibson (thigh) were also held out.
