BALTIMORE — Adam Lind broke open a close game with a three-run homer in the sixth inning to lift the Mariners. Leonys Martin also homered for the Mariners, who took two of three from Baltimore to improve to an AL-best 15-7 in away games. Seattle is 6-1 in seven road series. Nathan Karns allowed one run and four hits in five innings, striking out five and walking none. The right-hander is unbeaten in seven starts since April 9. Pedro Alvarez and Adam Jones had RBIs for the Orioles, who have dropped three of four.
