MIAMI — Giancarlo Stanton homered in the fourth inning and singled home the go-ahead run with two outs in the eighth, helping send the Cubs to their fourth consecutive defeat. Chicago still has the best record in the majors (47-24), despite its longest losing streak of the season. Miami ended Cubs starter Jon Lester's streak of wins in five consecutive starts. The Cubs' David Ross led off the eighth inning with his sixth homer to tie the score at 2 before the Marlins regained the lead for good.
