MIAMI — Placido Polanco homered for the first time in more than a year and Jeff Mathis hit his first homer since August, helping the Marlins overcome a three-run deficit. Miami, 13-9 this month, is ensured of a winning June but still has the majors' worst record, 27-50. Polanco had gone 350 at-bats without a home run before hitting one out to leftfield in the sixth.
