Mets 1, Marlins 0
MIAMI — Zack Wheeler tossed a complete game for his first shutout, facing one batter over the minimum due in part to three double plays, and David Wright hit a first-inning home run for the Mets. Marlins starter Andrew Heaney made his major-league debut. New York has consecutive victories for the first time since a three-game streak from May 31 to June 2. Wheeler, the No. 6 pick in the 2009 draft, had 70 of his 111 pitches go for strikes.
