WASHINGTON — Juan Lagares drove in three runs with a homer and a single, and Bartolo Colon pitched eight strong innings for the Mets. Lagares went in 5-for-27 in his past 11 games but provided a jolt to help New York snap a three-game skid. He singled in a run during a three-run first and hit a two-run homer in the third to give the Mets a 5-0 lead. He also robbed Jayson Werth of a homer with a leaping catch at the wall in center.
