CHICAGO — Gio Gonzalez pitched seven two-hit innings to lead the Nationals in the first game of a day-night doubleheader. Gonzalez, who missed a month earlier this season with shoulder problems, had his way with one of the majors' weakest lineups in his third start back from the disabled list, outperforming Dallas Beeler in his major-league debut.
