Nationals 8, Mets 2

NEW YORK — Tanner Roark recovered from a shaky first inning as an emergency starter in place of ill Jordan Zimmermann, and the Nationals swept the series. Ryan Zimmerman tied his career high with four hits, three that led off innings. His second-inning home run started a rally from a 2-0 deficit. The Mets are 0-3 for the first time since 2005.
