Nationals 9, Rangers 2

WASHINGTON — Ian Desmond's three-run homer in the fourth lifted the Nationals, who have 14 runs and 30 hits over their past two games. Stephen Strasburg earned the win with his eighth straight start of at least six innings and three runs or fewer. Colby Lewis got the loss after entering 4-0 on the road this year. But his RBI single in the second ended an 0-for-23 stretch by Texas pitchers dating to June 20, 2012.
