WASHINGTON — Former Tampa Catholic standout Denard Span got three hits off the majors' ERA leader and forced two throwing errors to lead the Nationals. Span finished 5-for-5 for Washington, which became the first team this season to score more than twice off Reds ace Johnny Cueto.
