Tip: Even though the air might feel warm at home, on the water it can be frigid. With Tampa Bay and the gulf at a balmy 59 degrees, a slight breeze blowing over a large mass of chilly water can cool things dramatically. It is better to take a coat on a boat with you and not use it than not to take one and be cold.

What's new: We are in the middle of boat show season. Not only are the shows a great place to buy a boat, they also display the latest fishing gear and often include fishing seminars. A lot of free information is available. Good tips and tactics from pros can be taken home and implemented.
