Grouper season closing down

Last chance: Anglers have one more weekend to fish for red grouper, such as this one caught by Frank Perri, before the season closes Wednesday. Grouper will remain off limits in state and federal waters through March 31. Red grouper season reopens in state and federal waters April 1, but gags are off limits in federal waters pending approval of new regulations.
