Ohio Derby winner Smooth Air and West Virginia Derby winner Ready Set top the field for today's $1-million Pennsylvania Derby in Bensalem, Pa. Fourteen colts will run the 11/8-mile course at Philadelphia Park.

Saratoga: Mani Bhavan beat Jardin by 1¼ lengths to win the $250,000 Spinaway Stakes in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.

McAllister Kennels won 11 races last week to regain the kennel lead at Derby Lane in St. Petersburg. McAllister has 91 victories, four more than Filipelli & O'Donnell and Magic City. La Rosa earned 11 wins, highlighted by Kaias Sequoyah and Red Dirt Road each earning a 60th career victory.
