Pirates 5, Braves 0

PITTSBURGH — James McDonald pitched seven innings, Ronny Cedeno's triple keyed a five-run seventh and the last-place Pirates beat the Braves for the second straight day and knocked them into second place in the NL East, one-half game behind the Phillies. Atlanta had been in sole possession of the division lead every day since May 31. The Braves have scored 12 runs while losing five of six.
