Canterbury named Josh Tebbe boys basketball coach, athletic director Dave Smith said. Tebbe, 23, spent last season as an assistant on Canterbury's middle school team.
Tebbe is a graduate of the University of Tampa, where he played baseball from 2003-05. He also is the middle school football coach and a varsity baseball assistant.
"We're going to be very young this year," Tebbe said. "We have no seniors, two juniors, one sophomore and a bunch of freshmen. There's going to be a lot more teaching of basics and fundamentals on my part, but I'm excited. We have a great group of kids."
