For starters: Rays open three-game series in Minnesota with Snell on the mound

MINNEAPOLIS — The Rays open their three-game road series at Target Field tonight against the team with the best record in the American League.

The Twins have 174 homers this season, and are on pace to shatter the major league record for homers in a season with 309.

Left-hander Blake Snell hopes to get back on track tonight against the Twins. He knows he needs to pitch more with his fastball, but the Twins are a team that swings early and likes fastballs.
