Reds 6, Brewers 2
CINCINNATI — Johnny Cueto gave up just three hits — solo homers in the second and fifth and an infield single in the eighth — over eight innings and singled home a run for the Reds. Cueto, who walked one and struck out 10, has allowed only three runs over his past 38 innings. His single in the sixth put Cincinnati ahead 4-2. The Brewers' Yovani Gallardo failed to record a quality start (six or more innings with three or fewer runs) for the first time in seven starts this season. All nine hits he allowed were singles.
