SAN DIEGO — Tyler Chatwood pitched three-hit ball for eight innings to carry the Rockies. It was the Padres' eighth shutout loss in 28 games this season. Making his sixth start since Tommy John surgery, Chatwood struck out seven and walked one. Jake McGee pitched a perfect ninth for his seventh save in eight chances, helping the Rockies avoid a three-game sweep.
