OAKLAND, Calif. — Raul Ibanez homered to rightfield in the fifth inning for the lone run and four Royals pitchers combined for the shutout. Jeremy Guthrie struck out six and allowed three hits in six innings and three relievers threw one inning each for Kansas City, which got four games over .500. Ibanez, 42, broke his own franchise record for oldest Royals player to clear the fences. It was Kansas City's first victory at the Oakland Coliseum since April 10, 2012.
