HOUSTON — Rookie Yordano Ventura pitched seven strong innings to earn his first big-league victory, and Omar Infante homered to lead the Royals. Ventura, 22, struck out seven and threw 101 pitches in the fifth start of his career to help Kansas City snap a three-game losing streak. Eric Hosmer added an RBI double, former Ray Wade Davis struck out two in a perfect eighth inning and Greg Holland struck out all three batters in the ninth for his fourth save.
