ARLINGTON, Texas — Jeremy Guthrie won for the fifth time in his past six starts and Jarrod Dyson matched a career high with three RBIs to lead the Royals. Guthrie held the Rangers to Shin-Soo Choo's leadoff home run in the first while pitching eight strong innings and helping Kansas City win for the 24th time in 30 games. Dyson drew a bases-loaded walk to drive in the go-ahead run in the Royals' three-run fifth inning and brought in two more runs with a single in the seventh.
