Seahawks knock Cutler, Bears back
CHICAGO — The way Jay Cutler got knocked around, Lawyer Milloy and the Seahawks couldn't wait for this game. When it came, they delivered another beating.
Matt Hasselbeck threw for a season-best 242 yards and a touchdown and Seattle sacked Cutler six times for its first road victory outside the NFC West since 2007.
Former Plant High receiver Mike Williams, out of the league the past two seasons after being considered a first-round draft bust in Detroit, set career highs with 10 catches and 123 yards for Seattle.
Cutler completed 17-of-39 for 290 yards. He missed last week's win at Carolina with a concussion after being sacked nine times by the Giants in the previous game.
"We were licking our chops, the way the Giants had success," said Milloy, who had one sack.
It was another ugly afternoon for the Bears.
"I felt fine physically," Cutler said. "… We didn't get it done today. It's very simple."
