WINTER HAVEN — Santa Fe Catholic had timely goals and great goalkeeping Thursday, defeating Seffner Christian 2-0 to advance to the Class 2A, District 8 championship.
The Crimson Hawks scored the only goal they would need 15 minutes in as Liam David headed a shot in after the ball went off the top of the goal post.
Two minutes into the second half defender Michael Prisbee scored from 25 yards away as the Crusaders keeper did not have time to react .
