4A-10 boys soccer: Lakewood toppled in final minute

Third-seeded Lakewood lost a heartbreaker to No. 2 seed Lakewood Ranch on the road in a 4A-10 district semifinal by a 3-2 count Wednesday.

The Spartans were victimized by a goal in the final minute of play that ended their hopes of making the region playoffs for the first time in three seasons.

Lakewood finishes 7-7-3.
