2A softball: Shorecrest watches lead slip away

Shorecrest held a 1-0 lead for much of its region quarterfinal at Moore Haven, but the Terriers scored twice in the sixth to rally for a 2-1 victory.

Molly Webber's RBI single put Shorecrest (9-10) ahead early. Pitcher Jaque Galinski went seven innings, giving up five hits and striking out five. She also had three hits.

"Our girls played great," Shorecrest coach Trent Rubley said. "I was very proud of them."
