Times' Super Seven

(some records through Wednesday)

1. Land O'Lakes (10-0): The Gators are the last undefeated team on the North Suncoast and in control of the Sunshine Athletic Conference race.

2. River Ridge (10-1): The Royal Knights took their hot bats to Dade City and Zephyrhills and earned back-to-back games.

3. Pasco (12-2): The Pirates lost to Land O'Lakes and River Ridge. Next up, a fundraiser against the Pirates baseball team Saturday.

4. Mitchell (9-5): The Mustangs have two of the area's top pitchers, but a tough district is taking its toll.

5. Nature Coast (12-2): The Sharks have won eight of their past nine and have not lost to a Hernando County opponent.

6. Zephyrhills (9-4): The Bulldogs have won five straight,

outscoring those opponents by 11.4 runs per game.

7. Hernando Christian (8-1): The Lions are enjoying a stellar season, outscoring opponents 101-16.
