Steelers finally get turnovers, victory
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — The Steelers were tired of seeing that dreaded zero in the win column. It's gone now.
Ben Roethlisberger threw a 55-yard touchdown pass to Emmanuel Sanders and Shaun Suisham hit four field goals as Pittsburgh defeated the Jets for its first win after an 0-4 start
"We're not going to quit," Steelers defensive end Brett Keisel said. "Obviously, it wasn't the start we wanted, but the men in this locker room believe there's a chance that something great could come out of this if we all work toward it."
The Steelers were coming off a bye after losing to the Vikings in London. The Jets had a short week after beating Atlanta last Monday.
"I think getting away (helped), having a bye and everyone looking in the mirror, to see what you can do to help this team win," Keisel said.
Jets QB Geno Smith was intercepted twice, Pittsburgh's first turnovers of the season.
