U.S. national team swimmer Megan Romano returns home to St. Petersburg, holds clinic for kids

USA Swimming national team member Megan Romano made a hometown appearance with St. Petersburg Aquatics club swimmers Saturday morning at the North Shore Aquatic Center. "I'm really excited to be returning home and giving back to the people who have supported me the most," Romano said. "It will be fun meeting up-and-coming swimmers from my hometown and share what has worked for me and my experience with them." Romano — a two-time gold medalist at the 2013 FINA World Championships — held an in-water clinic focusing on starts and turns for nearly 200 kids. She held a Q&A session and talked about the importance of nutrition before a photo and autograph session.
