Tampa Bay Golf Tour

Tampabay.com/golf is a one-stop guide to golf in our area. Information about every public and executive course is broken down by county and price range. Maps are also available for each course. Additionally, we are building a library of video reviews so you can see what the courses look like before you make your choice.

New this week

Rivard Golf Club: This Brooksville course is carved out of the natural terrain of southern Hernando County. There are few water hazards and not as much elevation as other courses in the area, but it does have some length and small greens. The course is generally wide open with woods and some extreme doglegs serving as the main challenges. Not overly difficult but not too easy either.

New next week

Seven Hills Golfer's Club: Set in a housing community in Spring Hill, the course has plenty of elevation and length. It was shut down for a month last year, but new ownership has cleaned up the course and retained its original layout. There are no water hazards but plenty of sand and woods. And with its undulating greens and fairways, every shot requires creativity.
