BOSTON — Miguel Cabrera hit a solo homer and an RBI single, Rick Porcello pitched eight solid innings to win his sixth straight start and the Tigers won their 10th road game. Detroit won for the 14th time in 17 games and is a majors-best 26-12. Cabrera also had one of the Tigers' six doubles, and Victor Martinez added two singles. Porcello allowed two or fewer runs for the fifth time in his past six starts. Xander Bogaerts homered for the Red Sox.
