The first two-thirds of USF's pitching rotation for this weekend's home showdown against UCF is set.

Bulls' hottest prospect starts on Friday, followed by their hottest pitcher on Saturday.

One night after potential first-round draftee Shane McClanahan was roughed up by then-No. 8 East Carolina, senior RHP Peter Strzelecki followed with the team's first complete game of the year, earning American Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week honors.

Strzelecki (6-2) scattered five hits, struck out four and walked one in the Bulls' 13-1 romp Saturday in Greenville. The 112-pitch gem, his second career complete game, lowered his ERA to 2.67.

Junior 3B David Villar, who had seven hits (including a home run and two doubles) at ECU, made the AAC's weekly honor roll.

The Bulls (23-13, 7-5), who clinched the series with a 5-4 triumph Sunday, enter the UCF series 29th in Warren Nolan's latest RPI standings. Counting a season-opening win against No. 19 North Carolina, they have three victories against teams currently ranked in the top 20.
