Public sentiment remained mixed late Sunday afternoon on the new USF football uniforms unveiled earlier in the day.

A brief video of Bulls TE Mitch Wilcox modeling an all-forest green version of the uniforms was released on the football program's official Twitter account shortly after noon.

SOUTH FLORIDA is emblazoned in gold letters across the chest, above gold numbers. The American Athletic Conference and Adidas logos also appear on the front of the jersey. The school's "U" logo (with bull horns) is embedded on the shoulders.

The helmet modeled by Wilcox is gold. On the pants, BULLS is etched vertically along the outer thigh.

As of 4 p.m., a Tampa Bay Times-based Twitter poll on the uniforms had attracted more than 500 responses, with 38 percent indicating they "Love 'em" and another 38 voting to "Let 'em grow on me." Twenty-four percent voted to "Leave 'em."

The fresh digs coincide with USF's new eight-year apparel deal with Adidas, which began July 1. Other color patterns are sure to follow.
