The Bulls, who haven't had their full complement of tailbacks all season, entered Saturday's game down a tackler also.

MLB Nico Sawtelle, nursing an upper-body injury, was not suited up for the Bulls' homecoming game Saturday against Connecticut. The Bulls' second-leading tackler (42), Sawtelle is expected back for next weekend's contest at Houston.

He was joined on the sideline by two tailbacks — Hillsborough High alumnus Duran Bell and third-year sophomore Elijah Mack — who remain out with unspecified injuries. Bell, who redshirted last season, has missed five consecutive games. Mack has missed four.

That left the Bulls with Jordan Cronkrite (seeking his fifth consecutive 100-yard performance) as well as junior Trevon Sands, freshman Johnny Ford and Fivay High alumnus Davion Sutton available in the backfield Saturday.

Also not suited up Saturday were DB Donelle Thomas, DB Naytron Culpepper, WR DeVontres Dukes and DE Rashawn Yates.
